Athletics Day!!.

Athletics Day !!!!

Finally the day has come when Pt England school had their annual Athletics day.

My group from years six and seven started off with the discus which is my favorite Athletic event of all time .The person in charge was Mr Jacobson who is our music teacher at school. The bugle went and our year six’s took their first throw and Lepa Toa came out on top for Matatua ,Erene for Taki and in thrid place Toko who is in Tainui.

These colours represent blue for Tainui, Red for Te aroa,Green for Matatua,Yellow for Takitimu, which means if you win a event then you will get points for your house group and who ever gets the most points wins!!!.

“First ,second,and third” says Mr Jacobson and its time for the year sevens to take there throw. My heart was pounding the air was fill with excitement,and everyone wanted to give it a good go. One by one as everyone was giving their all to get a place in discus,at the moment its Charm in first, Rayden second,Moses third.

Now it’s my turn. I stood up to the circle the bell went for morning tea
I was hungry at the same time.My heart was accelerating I took a deep breath I twist my body and I threw the discus as hard as I could and there it goes souring through the air “second place” says Mr Jacobson I jump up in the air saying “yes!! second place. ”

Netbooks

Yes!! finally we got our net books. Our brand new net books just arrived on Tuesday lunch time the air was filled with excitement because everyone was begging to try one ,yesterday we only had to look at it and put it away into it's case but today we had
full experience with them.

Working on our brand new net books is awesome,because we get to go on our blogs and make movies and also chat to other on line which is also a good way for us to improve on checking other school sites.

My MI Test

YAY!! My M.I.(Multiple Intelligences) Test. On my M.I test I did well on my music smart and also on nature smart.

There's a reason why music smart is good because I love playing with the guitar and also singing and I'm in the band at our school.

My people smart is also good because I love playing with my friends and communicating with others.

It's really cool to be nature smart because you get to learn about bird's and plants. I've got to try and improve on my Logical (Number Smart).

Mt St Helen's

It was 12 o'clock at midnight. Suddenly I heard a loud bang so I quickly open my window and there it was Mt St Helen erupting demolishing everything in it's sight.

Devastating bombs shooting threw the air leaving a steam of lava. I quickly rushed to my family and woke them up saying harry up Mt St Helen's is erupting. So we quickly got our survival item's and rushed to the car. We drove to the nearest center which is called Glen Innes.

Personal shield

Room 20 drew themselves a personal shield. On my personal shield I drew about what I want to do in life.

On my culture picture I drew a Tongan flag and also a Samoan flag which means I'm half Tongan and also half Samoan.

On my hobbies picture I drew myself a rugby field and it show that I love to play rugby.

On my future picture I drew my self a rugby world cup and all the different cultures around it. That means rugby is one of my favorite things to do.

The Big Game.

On Wednesday last week we had a big game against St Mary's. I was surprised when I heard that Year Eights were going to compete, but guess what - even though they were bigger than us, we did not care because champions never give up.

BEEP! goes the whistle "kick off" said the ref. Through the first half we were all over the place. One of the players got injured and they were all ready tired

BEEP!!!! "end of first half" says the ref. We all huddled up at the side line and we talked about our problem's and what we needed to work on.

BEEP!!!! goes the whistle I said to myself we got to get a try .

RING RING! goes the school bell and all of the Pt England supporters rushed to the field and started cheering "Go Pt England !" while we were playing we all got together. We played well by making good tackles and good hit ups .

Then the final whistle went and the ref said "game over."

We all did our cheers and shook hands saying "good game guys".

P.S. even though we lost CHAMPIONS NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!!.

Rock up

Rock up was so much fun.The best activity of all was the Dunker,because I like getting people out by hitting the target. The best part about the Dunker was getting wet. My secound enjoyable activity was Log Jousting because I love hitting the other team off it and also bouncing up and down on the bouncy bed. The activity that I did not really enjoy was Archery because all you had to do was to shoot the balloon.

The Pt England way

The Pt England way means a lot to us' and all the teachers in PT England school. Most of our Year 7 students have been good role models around juniors, around the school and around visitors. We have learnt to use our W.I.T.S and the first letter W means walk away' The second letter I means Ignore it' The letter T means talk about it' and Finally the letter S means Seek Help. Our Principal Mr Burt is an awesome principal because he showed us how to use our W.I.T.S and makes sure that we have lots of awesome trips and camps.

Bungy jump

When the man began to tie the rope around my legs I began to shack with fear.When he finished tying it I teetered to the edge of the bridge and my heart stared to accelerate and I stared to get goose bumps.The man said to put my hands up and jump .So I jumped!!! souring through the air and I grianed my teeth together and my eyes pooped out as I jumped.
